Registering a StarPark is easy, fast, and free. Once you have taken the pledge, visit the StarPark registration page where you can enter some basic information about the site and add contact information, a website, and pictures.Required information:
- StarPark name
- The location (a general location is okay, but the more complete the address is, the more accurate the marker on the map will be)
Optional information:
- A description of the site
- The environment (Urban/Suburban/Rural)
- If it's a community/state/national park
- Approximate size
- Bortle rating
- Whether it's open to the public or not
- Whether events are held there, and how many
- If you have or want StarParks signage
- If you have or want informational displays about light pollution
- Contact information (name, phone, email, and website)
- What you have done or will do to improve the quality of the night sky in your StarPark
- Photos
