A historical sundial from the year 1754, which was restored in 2010 by Mr. Reinhard Görke from the Sternwarte Sankt Andreasberg e.V., who also maintains the Sankt Andreasberg StarPark. The sundial is exhibited right next to the famous bell tower of Sankt Andreasberg.

The STATT (Sankt Andreasberger Teleskop-Treffen; Sankt Andreasberg Telescope Meeting) is an annual event celebrating the night sky over the Harz town of Sankt Andreasberg. Professional and amateur astronomers from all over Germany and Europe are invited to three days and two nights of stargazing and scientific lectures.
